Yet more articles on, it really is getting a lot of publicity at the moment!
First an article from Guardian Technology:A Closer Look at Ask’s Smart Answers from searchenginewatch’s searchday (again) is the first in a four-part series looking at various search engines’ focused “answers” services – Ask’s Smart Answers, Yahoo’s Shortcuts, Google’s Onebox results and Microsoft’s Instant Answers. Brian Smith uses sample queries to test the usefulness of Smart Answers, dividing them into Fact/reference based, vertical search results, and expert/partnership driven groups. What Brian likes about it is that “Ask is trying to provide more than just basic information”.
